2.1.2 - Element 2: Establish Construction Access <br /> Construction access or activities occurring on unpaved areas shall be minimized, yet, where <br /> necessary, access points shall be stabilized to minimize the tracking of sediment onto public <br /> roads. Wheel washing, street sweeping, and street cleaning shall be employed if necessary to <br /> prevent sediment from entering state waters. All wash wastewater shall be controlled on-site. <br /> The specific BMPs related to establishing construction access that shall be used on this project <br /> include: <br /> List and describe BMPs: Stabilized Construction Entrance (C105) <br /> Two construction entrances will be installed along Riverfront Boulvard. The entrance shall have <br /> a minimum length of 100 feet. <br /> Installation Schedules: Installation prior to construction activities. <br /> Inspection and Maintenance plan: Construction access elements shall be inspected daily to <br /> ensure they are in good condition and effectively prevent sediment from being tracked into the <br /> roadway. <br /> Responsible Staff: TBD—Construction Erosion Control Lead <br /> Page 18 <br />
