The Romtec metal
structure is considered safe, vandalism resistant, and viewed as the most maintenance -
friendly option. The City intends to procure the single Sidewalk Restrooms and install
them at the Cope Gillette Theater and Everpark Garage. The installation will be
completed using Job Order Contracting.
The restrooms are available for purchase from Romtec, Inc. through the Sourcewell
competitively bid contract #081721-RMT/City of Everett #2022-090. The City has an
Interlocal cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell that allows for purchases
from its competitively awarded contracts in lieu of soliciting bids on our own.
Recommendation (exact action requested of Council):
Award and authorize the purchase of two (2) Single Sidewalk Restrooms with Romtec,
Inc. from Sourcewell #081721-RMT/COE #2022-090 for approximately $315,111.32,
including Washington state sales tax.
