ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project, entitled "Hannabrook Park Improvement Project," Fund 354, Program 085, to accumulate all costs for the project. WHEREAS, A.The City Council is committed to a planned parks capital improvement program as part of the City of Everett Parks & Recreation Comprehensive Plan. B.The City Council recognizes the need to improve the Hannabrook Park trail and its amenities. C.The City Council recognizes the Parks and Recreation Open Space (PROS) Plan adopted in 2022 identifies the development of trails and fitness activities as two of the top opportunities that will benefit park users. D.The City Council recognizes the need to improve and expand the trail systems and amenities throughout the City Parks System. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled Hannabrook Park Improvement Project, Fund 354, Program 085 Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. Section 3. The estimated cost of the project is $110,000. Section 4. The sum of $110,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 085, Hannabrook Park Improvement Project.
