<br />GENERAL CEILING & LIGHTING NOTES
<br />1. GWB Ceiling at same height as currently.
<br />2. Undercabinet lighting: Electrician to provide conduit to each undercabinet
<br />light bank and install fixtures after cabinetry has been installed. Sizes
<br />have been specified per plans, but may change due to site cabinet
<br />conditions. Electrician is responsible for site -verifications before
<br />ordering and installing. Mount behind valance at FRONT of upper
<br />cabinet. See Detail A/6 for location and wiring. Run continuously with
<br />fixtures butted end -to -end.
<br />3. Sound System Supplier to provide volume controls and speakers as noted
<br />on plan. Speaker: "Lowell' #81oT70 or better. Run cable back to
<br />component location in Tech Closet. Verify any changes with Designer
<br />prior to installation.
<br />4. Design of new or relocation of existing by HVAC by Sub -Contractor.
<br />Insulate mechanical supply ducts with batting or duct board. Maximum
<br />12" flex duct runs. Minimum (4) zones. Use linear or square recessed
<br />ceiling diffusers - round diffusers will not be accepted. A sound boot is
<br />required in all plenum -rated return -air grilles. Provide alternate pricing
<br />of abandoning central furnace and installing individual mini -split ductless
<br />units.
<br />S. Painter to paint speaker covers and HVAC grilles to match ceiling color if
<br />in GWB ceiling.
<br />6. Occupancy sensors are to be installed in rooms (fully enclosed by walls) R
<br />less than 300 square feet that are designed for meeting, conferencing and
<br />storage purposes. These rooms include but are not limited to Private
<br />Offices and Staff Lounge.
<br />7. Switching layout is to comply with the 2018 Washington State Energy
<br />Code.
