<br />1. THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS DEFINED BY THESE PLANS, INCLUDING ANY ACCOMPANYING SPECIFICATIONS, ARE BASED ON

<br />CONSIDERED A PART OF THE ELECTRICAL DOCUMENTS SO FAR AS ANY ELECTRICAL ITEMS THEY MAY CONTAIN. THE
<br />CONTRACTOR SHALL REFER TO AND COORDINATE WITH THEM. NO EXTRA COST SHALL BE ALLOWED FOR FAILURE TO

<br />3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS, AND LABOR REQUIRED FOR THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
<br />OF ALL EQUIPMENT SHOWN ON THE PLANS FOR OTHER TRADES, SUCH AS ARCHITECTURAL, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING,
<br />AND REFRIGERATION.
<br />4. THIS PROJECT IS TO BE INSTALLED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH THE MOST RECENT LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL
<br />CODES. IF AT ANY TIME DURING OR AFTER CONSTRUCTION SOMETHING IS FOUND TO BE INSTALLED IN VIOLATION OF
<br />THESE CODES, IT SHALL BE CORRECTED BY THE CONTRACTOR.
<br />5. ALL EQUIPMENT PROVIDED BY THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE LISTED AND LABELED BY A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED
<br />TESTING AGENCY THAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO THE AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION AND BE PROPERLY INSTALLED FOR
<br />THE CONDITIONS AND SPACE THAT IT IS BEING INSTALLED WITHIN.
<br />6. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL A SEPARATE EQUIPMENT GROUNDING CONDUCTOR IN EACH CONDUIT RUN. CONDUIT
<br />SHALL NOT BE USED AS AN EQUIPMENT GROUNDING CONDUCTOR. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL GROUND THE ELECTRICAL
<br />SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MOST RECENT LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL CODES.
<br />7. ALL CONDUIT SHALL BE INSTALLED PARALLEL AND PERPENDICULAR TO ROOF JOISTS. CONDUIT LAYOUTS SHOWN ON THE
<br />PLANS ARE DIAGRAMMATIC, NOT INDICATING THE EXACT ROUTING REQUIRED. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ROUTE THE

<br />9. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE ALL CONDUIT TO THE STRUCTURE AS IT IS SET IN PLACE USING INDUSTRY=STANDARD
<br />METHODS AND PRACTICES. TO ENSURE ALL DEVICES ARE RIGIDLY FIXED, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE ALL DEVICE
<br />BOXES WITH BRACKETS, HANGERS, ETC, DESIGNED FOR THE APPLICATION.
<br />10. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE MINIMUM SIZE CONDUIT SHALL BE 3/4-INCH. FOR DRY INTERIOR LOCATIONS THAT ARE

<br />CONNECTIONS WITH THE FRED MEYER RELAY MANAGER, KROGER PROJECT MANAGER, FINAL FIXTURE PLAN, AND THE
<br />REFRIGERATION CONTRACTOR BEFORE ROUGH -IN. UNLESS OTHERWISE DIRECTED, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAKE THE
<br />FINAL CONNECTION FOR ALL EQUIPMENT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN WIRING DIAGRAMS FROM THE EQUIPMENT
<br />SUPPLIER FOR ALL EQUIPMENT BEFORE ANY ROUGH -IN. ANY INCORRECT WIRING OR DEVICES INSTALLED BY THE
<br />CONTRACTOR WITHOUT A WIRING DIAGRAM SHALL BE CORRECTED AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. THE CONTRACTOR
<br />SHALL PROVIDE COPIES OF WIRING DIAGRAMS WITHIN EACH PIECE OF EQUIPMENT AND ADDITIONAL COPIES WITH THE
<br />OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS.
<br />50. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE WEATHERPROOF BOXES,
<br />51. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE EMPTY CONDUITS AS REQUIRED FOR ALL REFRIGERATION CONTROLS WIRING AND
<br />COORDINATE ALL REFRIGERATION CONTROLS WORK WITH THE EMS CONTRACTOR AND PLANS. THE EMS CONTRACTOR
<br />PROVIDES WIRING AND MAKES THE FINAL CONNECTIONS FOR ALL REFRIGERATION CONTROLS.
