C. Riverside Neighborhood Improvements Allocate $$20,000.00 for neighborhood cleanup, replacing sidewalks, street trees and a paint up fix up program. Section 3: Should costs be less for the above projects than originally estimated, similar projects, upon a vote of the Neighborhood, will be funded. If project costs exceed the estimates given, the lowest priority project or projects will be dropped for funding. Section 4: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 360 Program 097 to accomplish the "1997 Community Development Neighborhood Improvements" Section 5: The Planning Director of the City of Everett under the administration of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility working with the appropriate departments to provide the improvements as described herein. Section 6: The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to obtain interim financing which may be in any form permitted by law. Interim financing liabilities shall be paid by the Treasurer as soon as permanent financing monies, from sources as described elsewhere in this Ordinance, are received. Section 7: Funding. A. The sum of$60,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund No. 360, Program 097, "1997 Community Development Block Grant Neighborhood Improvement Program", as follows: Program 001: Port Gardner Neighborhood Improvement $20,000 Program 002: Riverside Neighborhood Improvement $20,000 Program 003: Northeast Neighborhood Improvements $20,000 $60,000 B. Source of funding: Fund 360, Program 097: 1997 Community Development Block Grant funds $60,000 C. This appropriation shall not lapse but shall be carried forward year to year until $60,000 has been fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without the necessary reappropriation.
