March 8, 2023 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., March 8, 2023, <br />President Stonecipher presiding. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Rhyne, Schwab, Vogeli, <br />Zarlingo, Tuohy, and Stonecipher were present. Council Member Fosse was excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Schwab led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Tuohy acknowledged the original inhabitants of <br />this place, the sduhubš people, and their successors, the Tulalip Tribes. <br /> <br />The minutes of the March 1, 2023, City Council meeting were approved as printed. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR’S COMMENTS <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Zarlingo, to concur with the <br />following appointments: <br /> <br /> Cultural Arts Commission <br />• Colton Davis, Pos #4 – term expiring 12/31/2027 <br />• Al Leopold, Pos #5 – term expiring 12/31/2027 <br />• Aaron Sheckler, Pos #6 – term expiring 12/31/2028 <br />• Andrea Tucker, Pos #10 – term expiring 12/31/2028 <br />• Jane McClure, Pos A-1 – term expiring 12/31/2028 <br /> <br />Historical Commission <br />• Robert Barren, Pos #9 – term expiring 12/31/2024 <br /> <br />Salary Commission <br />• Julie Smith-Hopkins, Pos #5 – term expiring 12/31/2024 <br />• April Rheaume, Pos #6 – term expiring 12/31/2 <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council Member Fosse, who was <br />excused. <br /> <br /> Motion carried <br />
