March 8, 2023 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall requested a 10-minute executive session regarding a real estate matter <br />pursuant to RCW 42.30.110 (1)(b), with no announcement to follow. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 7870 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$3,692,237.03 for the period of February 18, 2023, through February 24, 2023. <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT AMENDED – GRANT FOR THE ANIMALS <br /> <br />To authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents and agreements for the American <br />Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) grant amendment. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council Member Fosse, who was <br />excused. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION ITEMS: <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2302-10 <br /> <br />THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE amending and closing a special improvement project, entitled “Doyle <br />Park Playground Replacement,” Fund 354, Program 070, as established by Ordinance <br />No.3809-21 <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Zarlingo, that this is declared <br />to be the third and final reading of Council Bill No. 2302-10. <br />
