A r ORDINANCE No. AA1i ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 2934 of the City of Everett , entitle d a s follows: "AN ORDINANCE fixing and determining the number of various officers, assistants, deputies and employees of the City of Everett; prescribing the duties of such officers, assistants , deputies and employees , fixing their salaries and repealing Ordinance No. 2893 of the City of Everett , and all amendments thereto, and pro- viding that this ordinance shall take effect on January 1, 1942 ," by amending Sections 18 and 40 thereof, and by adding thereto a section to be known as Section 46, end declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 18 of Ordinance No. 2934 of the City of Everett, entitled as above , be, and the sane is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 18: INSPECTION EM'ARTI,LENT: There shall be the following named officers and employe:s in the Inspection Departnterit, to-wit : One Building Inspector ; One Electrical Inspector (part time and One Office Clerk (pert time ) . It shall be the duty of such officers to perform the duties relating to such office es defined by the ordinances of such City , and such other duties as the Commissioner of' Public Works shall authorize and direct. Section 2: That Section 40 of Ordinance No. 2934 of the City of Everett, entitled as above, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 40 : IN ECTION DEPARTMENT: Building Inspector 170 .00 per mo. Electrical Inspector (part tine ) 35.00 per mo. Office Clerk (part tine ) 10.00 per mo. The electrical inspector shall receive no allowance for gasoline or use of automobile in connection with his said duties. Section 3: That Ordinance No. 29 34 of' the City of' Everett, entitled as above set forth, be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a section to be known as Section 46, which section shall read as follows:
