Please review and respond to the comments below. <br />MECHANICAL <br />1. It is unclear what type of materials are being transported through the dust <br />collector exhaust hood, ducts, and the collector and may be subjected to the <br />requirements of the IMC 510 and its subsections. Please categorize the <br />materials being transported as specified per NFPA 704 per IMC 510.1, 510.2. <br />Please update dust collection system such that it meets the IMC 510, if required <br />by 510.2, which may include, but is not limited to, design requirements of IMC <br />510.6 (general design), 510.7 (penetration protection), 510.8 (fire suppression), <br />510.9 (duct construction), 510.10 (duct support). <br />2. The proposed dust collector appears to be within 10'-0" of unprotected <br />openings. Please revise the location of the dust collector. IMC 511.1.1. <br />3. Please clarify where the exhaust discharge and discharge pipe is located as it <br />appears to be missing. IMC 511.1.2, IMC 511.1.3. <br />4. Please indicate spark protection assemblies as it appears to be missing. IMC <br />511.1.4. <br />PERMIT SERVICES <br />5. It is unclear how explosion relief vents are being addressed on the plans. <br />Q3200 Cedar Street Please clarify and update drawings. IMC 511.1.5. <br />Everett, WA 98201 <br />425.257.8810 6. It is unclear is what temperature the exhaust is and may require installation <br />425.257.8857 fax of exhaust outlets. Please clarify and update plans as required. Please provide stamped structural calculations verifying that the support <br />everettwa.gov/permits structure of the exhaust hood shown on Sheet M6.001 are adequate.
