0 TRANE- <br /> Mechanical Specifications <br /> Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) <br /> This offering meets the mandatory requirement of CATitle 24 of fully configurable diagnostics <br /> allowing fault history and reading fault codes at the unit.This option provides detection of the <br /> following faults:Air temperature sensor failure/fault and notification of acceptable economizer <br /> mode.The FDD system shall be certified by the Energy Commission as meeting the requirements. <br /> Hinged Access Doors <br /> Sheet metal hinges are available on the Filter/Evaporator,Supply Fan/Heat,and the Compressor/ <br /> Control Access Doors. <br /> Human Interface <br /> The Human Interface shall have a 5 inch color touchscreen display that conforms to FCC Part 15 <br /> Class B with an Ingress Protection Rating of IP24.The displaytext shall be readable by a person with <br /> 20/20 vision at a distance of 3 feet and 60°angle at lighting levels ranging from 100 lux-25,000 lux. <br /> Also,the display shall operate at temperatures of-40°C to 70°C.Firmware and unit configurations <br /> shall be able to be restored via a USB storage device. <br /> Powered or Unpowered Convenience Outlet <br /> This is a GFCI, 120V/15amp,2 plug,convenience outlet,either powered or unpowered.When the <br /> convenience outlet is powered,a service receptacle disconnectwill be available.The convenience <br /> outlet is powered from the line side of the disconnect or circuit breaker,and therefore will not be <br /> affected by the position of the disconnect or circuit breaker.This option can only be ordered when <br /> theThrough-the-Base Electrical with either the Disconnect Switch or Circuit Breaker option is <br /> ordered. <br /> Single Zone VAV1 - One Zone Variable Air Volume Mode <br /> Single-zoneVAV shall vary the indoorfan speed as the zone cooling or heating load changes,while <br /> cooling capacity is cycled to maintain the supply air temperature at setpoint.The indoor fan shall <br /> operate at maximum speed whenever the heater operating. <br /> Note: SZVAV requires the use of a zone temperature sensor. If a unit is configured for SZVAV,but <br /> is connected to a conventional thermostat,the unit Will revertto multiple-speed(talo-speed) <br /> indoor fan control. <br /> Multi-Speed Indoor Fan System <br /> The multiple-speed (two-speed)indoor fan control option shall automatically switch operation of <br /> the indoorfan between high speed and low speed,based on the number of compressors operating <br /> The indoor fan shall operate at high speed whenever the gas or electric heater is operating. <br /> Stainless Steel Drain Pan <br /> This option provides excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance.The drain pan shall be reversible <br /> and constructed of 304 stainless steel. <br /> Supply, Return, and Plenum Air Smoke Detector <br /> With this option, if smoke is detected,all unit operation will be shut down. Reset will be manual <br /> atthe unit.In orderforthesupply air smoke detector or return air smoke detectorto properly sense <br /> smoke in the supply air stream orthe return air stream,the air velocity entering the smoke detector <br /> unit must be between 500-4000 feet per minute. Equipment covered in this manual will develop <br /> an airflow velocity that falls within these limits over the entire airflow range specified in the <br /> evaporator fan performance table.
