Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> 2012 International Building Code (IBC), 2012 International Residential Code (IRC) as amended <br /> by the State of Washington and/or 2012 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), and adopted <br /> by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. Specify which "Whole House Ventilation System"you are using to comply with section <br /> M1507.3 of the IRC. Show the requirements of the whole house ventilation system <br /> chosen on the plans. Do not simply reference the code section. <br /> 2. Specify on the plans the requirements for each of the energy credits chosen to obtain <br /> the required 2.5 credits per section R406 Additional Energy Credits of the WSEC. <br /> Option 2a; <br /> AIR LEAKAGE CONTROL AND EFFICIENT VENTILATION 2a: <br /> Compliance based on R402.4.1.2: Reduce the tested air leakage to 4.0 air changes per hour <br /> maximum <br /> and <br /> All whole house ventilation requirements as determined by Section M1507.3 of the <br /> International Residential Code shall be met with a high efficiency fan (maximum 0.35 <br /> watts/cfm), not interlocked with the furnace fan.
