• I <br /> 3. Specify minimum fan size and location for all exhaust fans, range hood and whole house <br /> fan (if applicable). <br /> 4. Show size and location of attic ventilation. Both lower roofs are restricted from having <br /> soffit or eave vents on the east and west sides. <br /> 5. Provide gravity calculations prepared by a licensed WA State structural engineer for all <br /> headers and beams. Specify post size and locations for point loads from beams, <br /> headers and trusses. <br /> 6. Provide building section(s) specific to this structure showing each different type of <br /> construction including; <br /> a. One-story at garage. <br /> b. One-story at dwelling with crawl space. <br /> c. One-story at dwelling with basement. <br /> d. Two-story at dwelling with crawl space. <br /> e. Two-story at dwelling with basement. <br /> Show all components for each type of construction. Sections should be from the <br /> foundation to (and including) the roof trusses, sheathing and roofing. <br /> 7. Provide detail/section of construction at entry from garage into dwelling where the <br /> concrete garage floor is flush with the wood framed floor in the dwelling. <br /> 8. The details on sheet 13 included in the drawings for below grade insulation <br /> requirements call out three different options for insulation. Specify which option is being <br /> used and in what locations (see #7 above). <br /> 9. The basement plan shall clearly define the thermal envelope for heated spaces. Specify <br /> insulated doors as required in walls separating heated spaces from unheated spaces. <br /> 10. Provide R-5 rigid insulation at the perimeter of the slab-on-grade in conditioned spaces. <br /> 11. Provide R-10 rigid insulation, with thermal break, at the perimeter of slab-on-grade that <br /> is adjacent to an unheated space. Show minimum width of rigid insulation at perimeter <br /> of slab-on-grade on the floor plan. <br /> 12. Provide gravity calculations for 2x4 walls in basement that are supporting two floors <br /> above. <br /> 13.
