r ► <br /> August 18, 2014 <br /> Gibson Bluff <br /> L&A Job No. 14-056 <br /> Page 2 <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> We understand that the project site will be platted into 7 single-family building lots, with <br /> a new residence constructed on each lot. The proposed residences are to be constructed <br /> on the gently sloped bench top portion of the site. The buildings are to be supported on <br /> perimeter concrete foundation walls and interior columns, beams and bearing walls. The <br /> lots will be accessed via a paved road entering the project site from its south side which is <br /> bounded by Gibson Place. Onsite disposal by infiltration of storm runoff collected over <br /> impervious surfaces is being considered for the proposed development. Grading of the <br /> site would require minor cut and fill. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Our scope of services for this study comprises specifically the following: <br /> 1 Review the geologic and soil conditions at the project site based on a published <br /> geologic map. <br /> 2. Explore the subsurface conditions of the site with test borings drilled to a soil <br /> stratum capable of foundation bearing and stormwater disposal by infiltration. <br /> 3. Perform geotechnical analyses and provide geotechnical recommendations for the <br /> proposed development based on subsurface conditions encountered by the test <br /> borings and results of our geotechnical analyses. <br /> 4.
