City Procurement Policy requires Council authorization of awards greater than <br />$250,000. <br />Project summary statement: <br />SHI International Corp (SHI) is an Information Technology value-added reseller that <br />provides a total solution for information technology acquisitions by providing software, <br />licensing, and maintenance. SHI holds licenses and certifications for frequently used <br />software by the City, such as Microsoft, Bluebeam, Adobe, and VMware. These products <br />are available from SHI through the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services <br />competitively bid contract #14922/COE #2023-052. <br />The City has an Interlocal Agreement with the Washington State Department of <br />Enterprise Services that allows for purchases from its competitively awarded contracts <br />in lieu of soliciting bids on our own. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Award and authorize approximately $400,000 to be spent annually with SHI <br />International Corp from Washington State Department of Enterprise Services Contract <br />#14922/COE #2023-052 for Information Technology type purchases. <br />
