<br />Exception: All luminaires (fixed, portable, or transportable) and hand
<br />lights intended to be supplied by mains (with or without galvanic isola-
<br />tion) or powered by 6atterzes, with any continuous divergent light
<br />source, including LEDs, shall be excluded from this requirement.
<br />500.9 Specific Occupancies. Articles 510 through 517 cover
<br />garages, aircraft hangars, motor fuel dispensing facilities, bulk
<br />storage plants, spray application, dipping and coating
<br />processes, and health care facilities.

<br />Part I. General
<br />501.1 Scope. Article 501 covers the requirements for electrical
<br />and electronic equipment and wiring for all voltages in Class I,
<br />Division 1 and 2 locations where fire or explosion hazards ma

<br />501.10 Wiring Methods. Wiring methods shall comply with
<br />501.10(A) or (B).
