'Firestone <br /> Firestone Building Products <br /> TECHNICAL INFORMATION SHEET <br /> Nire <br /> Splice Wash SW-100 <br /> Item Description Item Number <br /> Splice Wash W563587066 tireStotle I` <br /> SPLICE WASH <br /> W56-356-7066 <br /> Product Information <br /> Description: <br /> Splice Wash SW-100 is designed to clean and prepare Firestone single-ply membranes to be welded or to receive Firestone <br /> Primers, Adhesives or Sealants as noted in Firestone Specifications and Details. <br /> Method of Application: <br /> 1. Surfaces to be welded, or to receive primer, adhesive or sealant shall be clean, dry, and free of foreign materials and <br /> excess dusting agent. Remove loose contaminates using brooms or rags. <br /> 2. Clean/prepare dirty surfaces using clean cotton rags wetted with Splice Wash SW-100, moving in circular motions with <br /> heavy pressure over affected areas. Membrane with caked dirt, including in-service thermoplastic membranes, should <br /> be scrubbed using QuickScrubberTM Handle & Pad wetted with Single-Ply Splice Wash SW-100, followed by wiping <br /> with clean rags to remove contaminates. On thermoplastic surfaces, the wipe with Splice Wash SW-100 should be in <br /> one direction, flipping the rag often to avoid transferring contaminates. <br /> 3. Allow surfaces cleaned with Single-Ply Splice Wash SW-100to dry completely (usually within 10 to 30 minutes) before <br /> welding or applying primer, adhesive or sealant per current Firestone specifications and details. <br /> 4.
