Task 3—Field inspect the study area
The study area has been inspected by the design team. There does not appear to be any drainage
problems on the site. The field inspection was conducted
Mid-day, on January 28, 2020. The weather was overcast.
Task 4—Describe the drainage system, and its existing and predicted problems
The drainage system appears to be functioning properly. However, the existing drainage
system is decommissioned and replace with the proposed design under this permit.
This project intends to install splash blocks, pvc conveyance pipe, and concrete inlets in order
to convey stormwater flows to the stormwater utility in Shore Ave.
Determination of Applicable Minimum Requirements: Vol 1, Section 3.1.4
This project proposes more than 5,000 square feet of new hard surface and thus triggers the
evaluation of minimum requirements 1-9.
3.1.4 Preparation of Permanent Stormwater Control Plan: Vol 1, Section 3.1.5
• Existing Site Hydrology
The site is currently developed with structures and concrete driveways. Runoff from the site
likely disperses toward the catch basin located in Shore Ave.
• Developed Site Hydrology
The runoff on site after the proposed development is installed will be collected and conveyed
to the stormwater utility underneath Shore Ave.
a. Summary Section
This project proposes more than 5,000 sf of new and replaced impervious surface, and less
than 5,000 sf of new and replaced pollution generating hard surface. This project intends to
address minimum requirements 1-9 to ensure feasibility of the proposed lot 1 development
and the future development of lot 2. The Drainage plan provides details on the stormwater
design for this project.
b. Performance Standards and Goals
c. Low Impact Development Features
This project utilizes downspout dispersion for stormwater
management as an LID development feature.
d. Flow Control System
Flow control is not required for this project.
e. Water Quality System
NA-
f
Analysis
Conveyance System Anal
y y y
Shore Ave appears to have a conveyance system that is stormwater utility.
