. t r ♦ M <br /> ` • <br /> ORDINANCE No. <br /> AN ORDINAL?CE designating the person or persons who are <br /> authorized to sign warrants of the City of Everett in the event <br /> of the absence from the City of Everett or during the disability <br /> of the Commissioner of Finance or of the City Clerk of Everett , <br /> end declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: that in the event of the absence from <br /> the City of Everett or during the disability of the Commissioner <br /> of Finance the Commissioner of Public Works shall be authorized <br /> to sign all warrants of the City of Everett in the place of the <br /> Commissioner of Finance during such absence or disability, and <br /> in the event of the absence from the City of Everett or during <br /> the disability of both the Coiatnissioner of Finance and the <br /> Commissioner of Public 4orks the Commissioner of Safety shall <br /> be authorized to sign City warrants during such absence or <br /> during such disability of both of such officers. <br /> Section 2: That in the event of the absence from <br /> the City of Everett or during the disability of the City Clerk <br /> of Everett the Deputy City Clerk shall be authorized to sign <br /> City warrants in the place of the City Clerk during such absence <br /> or disability. <br /> Section 3: An emergency is declared to exist and <br /> this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publica- <br /> tion. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: i Z - - 4/ <br /> Published: / - <br />
