Note that any additional <br /> hidden layers found during roof removal will be an additional charge of$115.00 per <br /> square (100 square feet), per layer. <br /> • Replace any rotten or bad decking at $42 per 4x8 sheet of decking, plus material <br /> costs. <br /> • Apply ASTM D226 Rated synthetic underlayment over entire roof deck. <br /> • Adhere CertainTeed WinterGuard self-adhering ice and water shield waterproofing <br /> underlayment around all protrusions. <br /> METAL FLASHINGS AND ROOF VENTING <br /> • All flashing to be pre-formed 26 gauge galvanized steel with baked enamel finish. <br /> • Install 1 x3 hemmed starter flashing at all gutter edges. <br /> • Install metal drip-edge flashing at all rake/gable edges. <br /> • Replace flashing at all roof-wall junctions as siding permits. <br /> • Reflash skylight curbs and reset existing skylight lids with weather stripping and secure <br /> with screws. Any interior finish work, if needed, will be extra work and billed on a time <br /> and materials basis. <br /> • Install CertainTeed baffled ridge vent at horizontal ridges to provide proper attic <br /> ventilation. <br /> • Install new metal vents with positive connection and integral damper at any fan/duct <br /> vents. <br /> • Install new lead boot at electrical mast. <br /> • Install all new lead pipe boots with rain caps on plumbing vents and paint to match <br /> roof. <br />
