ORDINANCE No. AN ORDDIA,NCE pr ov idi ng f ar the impr overne nt o f Colby Avenue and Central Avenue from 43rd Street to 48th Street by grading to proper grade, construction of wood curbs, resurfacing with Bituminous plant iix, installation of necessary drainage, and doing all work necessary to rake a complete improvement , all in accordance with Resolut ion No. 4739 of the City of Everett ; creating an assessment distri ct; creating a local improvement district fund therefor; providing that the cost and expense of said improvement up to the assessed valuation of real estate tax- able shall be made by special assessment against the property in said district liable therefor under the mode of payment by bonds, and providing that the bal ance of the cost of said improve- ment shall be paid out of the City Stree,s3y. under provisions of the State Aid Act, Chapter 187 of the Laws of 1937. WIEPE.AS , by Re so lut ion No. 4739 of the City of Everett the City Council has declared its intention to order the improve- ment as above outlined, and doing all other v rk in connection therewith to rake a complete improvement , in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the En .neer of the City of' Everett. NOW, TIEREFORE, TIE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Colby Avenue and Central Avenue from 43rd Street to 48th Street be improved by grading to pr ope r grade , construction of wood curbs, resurfacing with bituminous plant mix , installation of ne cessary dra inage, and doing other work necessary to make a complete improvement , all in accordance with plans and specifications prepared under the direction of the City Engineer of the City of Everett , which plans and specifications are hereby ap )r oved and adopted. Section 2 : That the cost and expense of said e improvement up to the assessed valuation of the real e taxable in said district shall be borne by and assessed a against the property in said district liable therefor , id out the hnd l ante Street Fund under proviisi ons of the State r StateAid Act, of thee City � tt Chapter 187 , Session Laws of 1937 .
