� Fire Permit <br /> EVERETT EVERETT Proximate Pyrotechnic Display <br /> WASHINGTON INFORMATION HANDOUT P-9 1.6.2023 <br /> Scope and Purpose <br /> To provide guidelines on how to process required Operational Permits for Pyrotechnic Special Effects <br /> (Proximate Display) set forth by the International Fire Code. <br /> Definition <br /> Proximate Display- Proximate Pyrotechnic Displays are special effect devices specifically designed to <br /> have little or no fallout. Proximate Displays are primarily used for indoor events where the audience is <br /> close to the fireworks. <br /> Fire Permit Application <br /> The following documentation shall be submitted 14 days prior to the start of the proposed <br /> event: <br /> • Online Permitting Portal https://onlinepermits.everettwa.Rov/etrakit/default.aspx <br /> • U.S. Department of Justice- Federal Explosives License/Permit (18 U.S.C.
