EVERETT <br />WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7881 <br />A RESOLUTION fixing a date and time to hear and determine the petition for the proposed vacation of <br />the remaining alleys in the block bounded by Rockefeller Avenue on the west, Oakes Avenue on the <br />east, Pacific Avenue on the north, and 32"d Street on the south. <br />WHEREAS, <br />A. The owners of more than two-thirds of the property abutting the following alleys have signed <br />a petition for vacation: <br />The remaining alleys in the block bounded by Rockefeller Avenue on the west, Oakes Avenue on <br />the east, Pacific Avenue on the north, and 32nd Street on the south. <br />The alleys are legally described as: <br />All that portion of the east/west alley lying northerly of Lot 20 and southerly of Lots 21 through <br />26 inclusive, in Block 739 of Everett Land Company's First Addition to Everett, according to the <br />plat thereof recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, pages 20 through 20A, records of Snohomish County, <br />Washington, more particularly described as follows; <br />Together with all that portion of the north/south alley lying easterly of Lots 1 through 10 and <br />lying westerly of Lots 11 through 20, inclusive, in said Block 739 of Everett Land Company's First <br />Addition to Everett. All situate in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington. <br />B. The petition has been filed with the City Clerk. RCW 35.79.010 provides that the City Council <br />shall, by resolution, fix a time for public hearing on the petition. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT that a public <br />hearing be set for May 31, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at 3002 Wetmore Avenue, <br />to hear and determine the petition for the vacation of the alleys described above. <br />AtfieP <br />Councilmember introducing resolution <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 5t" day of April, 2023. <br />Council President <br />
