And have determined that we should suggest another option for you...it is suggested that you schedule a counter meeting with our building reviewer and bring in your house plans (as well as any pictures of the wall you wish to remove) and application for the drywall and insulation permit with the added scope of removing a non-load bearing wall. The building official has indicated that perhaps with the proper documentation and discussion with our building reviewer you may be able to get an "Over the counter" permit.
