Reece Construction Company of <br />Marysville, WA submitted the lowest responsive bid in the amount of $1,616,161.61. <br />Project summary statement: <br />This project will overlay Madison St. from Sievers Duecy to Commercial Ave. with new <br />pavement markings that will build one-way buffered bike lanes along the curb of both <br />side of Madison Street. The 2023 Pavement Maintenance Overlay Project includes <br />approximately 5,641 tons of hot -mix asphalt, utility adjustments and all other <br />appurtenances necessary to complete the work. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize Award of 2023 Pavement Maintenance Overlay project Contract to Reece <br />Construction Company in the amount of $1,616,161.61. <br />
