506242089.1 <br /> <br /> -22- <br /> <br />Refunding Bonds. The Improvement Bonds and the Refunding Bonds may, at the option of the <br />Designated Representative, be combined and sold as a single series. Whenever the term “Bonds” <br />is used in this ordinance, the term shall include both the Improvement Bonds and the Refunding <br />Bonds. <br /> (c) Bond Details. The Bonds shall be issued as a single series to be designated as the <br />City of Everett, Washington, Water and Sewer Revenue and Refunding Bonds, 2023, shall be <br />dated as of their date of delivery; shall be fully registered as to both principal and interest; shall <br />be in the denomination of $5,000 each, or any integral multiple thereof, provided that no Bond <br />shall represent more than one series and maturity; shall be numbered separately in such manner <br />and with any additional designation as the Registrar deems necessary for purposes of <br />identification; and shall bear interest from their date payable on the first days of each June and <br />December, commencing on December 1, 2023, at rates set forth in the Approved Bid; and shall <br />mature on the dates and in the principal amounts set forth in the Approved Bid and as approved <br />by the Finance Director-Treasurer pursuant to Section 15. The Bonds of any of the maturities <br />within a series may be combined and issued as term bonds, subject to mandatory redemption as <br />provided in the Notice of Sale for the Bonds and the Approved Bid. <br /> The Bonds shall be obligations only of the Revenue Bond Fund and shall be payable and <br />secured as provided herein. The Bonds shall not be general obligations of the City. <br /> Section 4. Registration, Exchange and Payments. <br /> (a) Registrar/Bond Register. The City hereby specifies and adopts the system of <br />registration approved by the Washington State Finance Committee from time to time through the <br />appointment of state fiscal agents. The City shall cause a bond register to be maintained by the <br />Registrar. So long as any Bonds remain outstanding, the Registrar shall make all necessary
