ORDINANCE NO. <br />ii. <br />EVERETT <br />WASHINGTON <br />An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project "Wiggums Hollow Playground Replacement", <br />Fund 354, Program 081, to Accumulate Project Costs in the Amount of $718,000. <br />WHEREAS, <br />A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain and improve City Park amenities. <br />B. The playground at Wiggums Hollow Park is 20 years old and exceeds the City of Everett Park's life - <br />cycle standard of 15 years. <br />C. The City Council has recognized the need to replace the playground and playground surfacing at <br />Wiggums Hollow Park. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled "Wiggums Hollow Playground <br />Replacement", Fund 354, Program 081, to accumulate project costs in the amount of $718,000. <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br />the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br />necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. The estimated cost of the playground replacement is $718,000. <br />Section 4. The sum of $718,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 081 "Wiggums <br />Hollow Playground Replacement" project. <br />A.
