ORDINANCE NO. <br />EVERETT <br />WASHINGTON <br />An Ordinance creating a special construction project entitled "Parks Restrooms Renovation Project", <br />Fund 354, Program 088, to accumulate design costs for the project in the amount of $240,000. <br />WHEREAS, <br />A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain City facilities. <br />B. The City has identified deficiencies with the Howarth Park, Thornton A. Sullivan Park, Legion Park, <br />and Forest Park restrooms which requires repairs and upgrades. <br />C. The City understands the importance and significance to upgrade the restrooms to be ADA <br />compliant and build additional family -style restrooms in the parks. <br />D. The City Council recognizes the need to renovate and repair the restrooms at Howarth Park, <br />Thornton A. Sullivan Park, Legion Park, and Forest Park. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section 1. A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 354, Program 088, Parks Restrooms <br />Renovation Project and shall be entitled "Parks Restrooms Renovation Project" to accumulate costs for <br />the project. <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks & Facilities Director under the administration of <br />the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all necessary steps to <br />accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. The cost of the design of this project is $240,000 not including costs related to construction. <br />Section4: The sum of $240,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354 Program 088, Parks Restrooms <br />Renovation Project Fund. <br />A.
