Sullivan Park and Forest Park). The design work will include an <br />engineer's estimate for the project construction. <br />Total project design cost is $240,000.00 <br />Project summary statement: <br />Based on the Facilities Condition Assessment report, the restrooms at Howarth, Legion, <br />TA Sullivan, and Forest Park are at their end of useful life. <br />Architectural & Engineering consultant services will be contracted to develop schematic <br />design, bid documents, construction drawings, and assist with bidding and construction <br />administration for the restroom renovation project. The Schematic Design will establish <br />the general scope, conceptual design, scale, and relationships among the components of <br />the project. The primary objective is to arrive at a clearly defined, feasible concept <br />while exploring the most promising alternative design solutions. This will allow the City <br />to make informed design decisions based on cost estimates which will determine the <br />project scope of work. <br />Upon completion of the design plans, specifications, and engineer's estimate, staff will <br />return and amend the Ordinance to capture all project costs. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled "Parks Restrooms <br />Renovation Project", Fund 354, Program 088, to accumulate design costs in the Amount <br />of $240,000 <br />
