Fund: 153 — EMS Fiscal summary statement: The City of Everett receives revenue from NW Ambulance. In 2022, the City received $162,912 through this contract to cover the City's costs of administering the Contract and providing resources to support BLS transport. Project summary statement: On June 1, 2016, Council authorized a seven-year contract with Platinum Nine Holdings, dba NW Ambulance, to provide city-wide ambulance transport services for basic life support patients that have been screened and medically evaluated by the Everett Fire Department (EFD) and transferred to the Contractor for transport to an appropriate medical facility. Contract Amendment No 1 extends the current contract until December 31, 2023, to provide adequate time to conduct a competitive procurement process that will result in a new contract.
