In 2022, the City received <br />$162,912 through this contract to cover the City's costs of administering the Contract and <br />providing resources to support BLS transport. <br />Project summary statement: <br />On June 1, 2016, Council authorized a seven-year contract with Platinum Nine Holdings, <br />dba NW Ambulance, to provide city-wide ambulance transport services for basic life <br />support patients that have been screened and medically evaluated by the Everett Fire <br />Department (EFD) and transferred to the Contractor for transport to an appropriate <br />medical facility. <br />Contract Amendment No 1 extends the current contract until December 31, 2023, to <br />provide adequate time to conduct a competitive procurement process that will result in a <br />new contract. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No 1 to contract #2015-097 for Basic Life Support <br />Ambulance Service to NW Ambulance. <br />
