� t • • • 1. • 07 DTN r*CE No. 3 , AN ORDIN/JTCE submitting to the electors of the City of Everett the proposition of authorizing the levying of a tax upon the real and personal property in said City in the year 1941 'of one mill in addition to the fifteen mills E. uthorized by Chapter 2, Laws of 1939 of the State of ..ashington, for the purpose of es- tablishing, improving and maintaining playgrounds and ball parks, installing lights and constructing grandstand in the Civic Baseball Park located at 17th Street and East Grand Evenue in Everett , at a special election to be called and held in the City of Everett on Tuesday the 5th day of November , 1940 ; providin., the form of ballot to be used at said election; requesting the Election Board of Snohomish County , Washin'ton, to call end hold said election, and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That there be submitted to the electors of Everett the proposition of authorizing said city to levy in the year 1941 on all taxable property within said City a tax of one mill in addition to the fifteen mill levy authorized by Chapter 2 of the Laws of 1939 of the State of Washington, for the purpose of establishing, improving and maintaining playgrounds and ball parks, installing lights and constructing grandstand in the Civic Baseball Park located at 17th Street and East Grand Avenue in Everett , at a spe c*al election to be held in the City of Everett on Tuesday the 5th day of November , 1940.
