Saw cuts shall leave <br /> 38 straight edges and vertical faces. No diagonal cuts in sidewalk will be allowed <br /> 39 unless otherwise indicated on the drawings or directed by the Engineer. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 A concrete walk that is to remain in place will be protected from equipment <br /> 42 damage. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Where sidewalk adjacent to a sidewalk opening is in poor condition, removal <br /> 45 shall be extended to the nearest through joint or scribe mark as may be directed <br /> 46 by the Engineer. <br /> 47 <br /> 48 Pavement breakers shall be approved by the Engineer before use. <br /> 49 <br /> 50 Temporary asphalt concrete sidewalk shall be included in the bid item, <br /> 51 "Removing Sidewalk". <br /> 2023 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE OVERLAY <br /> WO#3789 February 14,2023 39 <br />
