1 FCNH 8-20.2(9-29.18) VIDEO DETECTION VIP.docx <br /> 2 <br /> 3 9-29.18 Vehicle Detector <br /> 4 Section 9-29.18 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 5 <br /> 6 9-29.18(3) Video detection <br /> 7 All components needed to provide a complete video detection system shall be <br /> 8 supplied and installed per manufacturer's recommendation. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 The video detection equipment shall include, but not be limited to, Cameras, Camera <br /> 11 Housings, Camera Lens, Camera Mounting Hardware, Video Image Processors, <br /> 12 Input File Adapters, lens Adjustment Modules, Keypad and Monitor. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 The video detection system shall be capable of supplying video detection to the <br /> 15 signal controller phases as indicated in the plans. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 The video image processor shall 2 monitors 2 cameras simultaneously and provide <br /> 18 up to 24 presence detection zones and up to 20 presence detection zones per <br /> 19 camera. Each presence zone call shall be able to be be delayed, extended or <br /> 20 combined with an input to inhibit the call. The video image processor shall provide 8 <br /> 21 data detection zones and 4 data detection zones per camera. It shall gnereate alarm <br /> 22 events like: speed alarms (4 service levels), speed drop, wrong way driver, queue <br /> 23 length threshold and quality alarm. Each video image processor shall control up to <br /> 24 24 outputs (4 per board and 20 via the I/O extension boards) and 20 inputs (four for <br /> 25 each of the five I/O extension boards). The video image processor shall store up to <br /> 26 four configurations per camera. Software and firmware uploads shall be capable of <br /> 27 serial communication via RS232.
