Section 2: That Fifty-five percent ( 55%) of the cost of <br /> said improvement , including Four foot strip of sidewalk adjacent <br /> to curb, plus fixed estimate, shall be borne by and assessed <br /> against the property included in the enlarged district, which <br /> district shall be divided into a benefit district and an indirect <br /> benefit district, and Sixty-three percent (63 ') of the cost of <br /> aidewalk renewal beyond Four foot strip adjacent to curb shall <br /> be borne by and assessed against the abutting property, and the <br /> balance of the cost of said improvement shall be paid from the.-'. - <br /> City Street Fund of the City of Everett. <br /> Section 3: There is hereby established an enlarged <br /> local improvement district to be called Local Improvement District <br /> No. 528 , which said enlarged district shall be divided into <br /> a direct benefit district and an indirect benefit district , the <br /> direct benefit district to include all of the following des- <br /> cribed property to-wit : <br /> All property between the +pest margin of Virginia Avenue <br /> extended and a line Fifty-seven feet West of the West line of <br /> State Street, for a distance of Two hundred (200) feet North <br /> of the north margin of Hewitt Avenue and a distance Two hundred <br /> (200) feet South of the South margin of Hewitt Avenue . <br /> That said direct benefit district shall be assessed <br /> and bear Fifty-five (55%) percent of the cost of said improvement, <br /> including Four foot strip of sidewalk adjacent to curb, plus <br /> fixed estimate, and Sixty-three percent (63%) of the cost of <br /> sidewalk renewal beyond the Four foot strip adjacent to curb <br /> to be assessed to abbuting property, except the sum to be paid <br /> by assessment against the property in the indirect benefit dis- <br /> trict. <br /> The indirect benefit district shall include the followin; <br /> described property, to-wit : <br /> All property between West margin of Virginia Avenue <br /> and the West line of State Street and between parallel lines <br /> Two hundred (200 ) feet and our l undred (400) feet North of <br /> the North margin of hewitt Avenue and between parallel lines <br /> Two Hundred (200) feet and Four llund red (400) feet South of the <br /> South margin of Hewitt Avenue ; also Frac. of Lots 28, 29, 30 and <br /> all of Lots 1 and 2 , Dlock 652, Swalwell' s First Addition to <br /> Everett, and Frac. of Lots 28, 29 , 30 and all of Lots 1 and 2, <br /> Block 698, Swalwell' s First Addition to Lvere tt; also all that <br /> property between the East margin of Sroadway and the West margin <br /> of Virginia Avenue extended, and for a distance of 'our Hundred <br /> (400 ) feet ;orth of the North line of Hewitt Avenue and for a <br /> distance of Four Hundred Feet (400) South of the South margin <br /> of Hewitt Avenue. <br /> Said property in said indirect benefit district shall <br /> be assessed and bear of the cost of said improvement a sum not <br /> to exceed Eighteen Thousand Dollars ( ?18,000.00) . <br /> -2- <br />
