COMPOSITION SHINGLE <br /> ilr <br /> . , i <br /> Locate roof rafters and mark locations on roof. Drill 1/4" <br /> pilot holes perpendicular to the roof and back fill with <br /> roofing manufacturers' approved sealant. Slide flashing <br /> between 1st and 2nd course of shingles, ensuring both <br /> that the flashing reaches under the 3rd shingle course and <br /> doesn't overhang the downhill shingle course. Line up with <br /> pilot hole and insert supplied lag bolt with washer through d <br /> flashing. With a 7/16" Socket fully seat lag bolt. Place Cap <br /> onto flashing in desired orientation for E/W or N/S rails and <br /> rotate 180 degrees until it locks into place. r, <br /> D Rail can be installed on either side of FlashFoot2 Cap. <br /> For additional details refer to the full FlashFoot2 Installation <br /> ............................................. <br /> Manual. <br /> MOMP <br /> Locate rafters and snap vertical and horizontal lines to <br /> mark locations of flashings. Drill 1/4" pilot holes, then <br /> backfill with an approved sealant. Slide flashing between orqu o <br /> 1 st and 2nd course of shingles, ensuring both that the 'b <br /> flashing reaches under the 3rd shingle course and doesn't <br /> overhang the downhill shingle course. Line up pilot hole <br /> with View Port. Press Grip Cap onto flashing in desired <br /> orientation for E/W or N/S rails. Insert Lag Bolt with d a Q <br /> mechanically bonded washer through flashing. With a <br /> 7/16" Socket drive Lag Bolt until fully seated. FlashVue <br /> is now installed and ready for IronRidge XR Rails. <br /> Attach rails to either side of the open slot using bonding <br /> hardware.
