ORDINANCE NO. 2 2 8 9-9 8 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "10th Street and North Broadway Intersection Improvements", Fund 303, Program 012, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing Ordinance 2109-95. WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned traffic signal and pedestrian improvement program; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett has received approval for the utilization of Federal funds for traffic signal and pedestrian improvements to the 10th Street and North Broadway intersection; and WHEREAS, based on construction costs, additional funding and other improvements, there is a need to revise the existing ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 012, entitled "10th Street and North Broadway Intersection Improvements" to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing ordinance 2109-95. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 012, for construction of the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director", under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of $425,076.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 012, "10th Street and North Broadway Intersection Improvements " as follows:
