A small budget amendment may be needed for engineering & public services, Fund 024. Project summary statement: The current collective bargaining agreement between the City of Everett and the Snohomish County Construction Crafts Employees expired on December 31, 2022. The agreement with CRAFTS is nearly the same agreement that was met with City of Everett AFSCME employees in December 2022. Highlights of the successor agreement include: • 2-year contract • New Classification added to agreement (Inspector II) • Wage adjustment: 7.5% in 2023, 100% CPI in 2024 (min 3% and max 5%) • Increase in longevity (changed from flat $ to % of base wage) • Increased vacation (match comparable cities) Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and the Snohomish County Construction Crafts employees for 2023 through 2024.
