A small budget amendment may be <br />needed for engineering & public services, Fund 024. <br />Project summary statement: <br />The current collective bargaining agreement between the City of Everett and the <br />Snohomish County Construction Crafts Employees expired on December 31, 2022. The <br />agreement with CRAFTS is nearly the same agreement that was met with City of Everett <br />AFSCME employees in December 2022. Highlights of the successor agreement include: <br />• 2-year contract <br />• New Classification added to agreement (Inspector II) <br />• Wage adjustment: 7.5% in 2023, 100% CPI in 2024 (min 3% and max 5%) <br />• Increase in longevity (changed from flat $ to % of base wage) <br />• Increased vacation (match comparable cities) <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and <br />the Snohomish County Construction Crafts employees for 2023 through 2024. <br />
