PROCUREMENT <br />SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION <br />E V E R E T T Purchases $10,000 & Above <br />When filling out a sole source, use this document as a guide to answer each <br />section. <br />WASHINGTON <br />A sole source is defined as: <br />A purchase that is clearly and legitimately limited to a single source or supply. <br />A. If there is a way to draft the specifications so that more than one respondent will reply, it is not a sole source. <br />B. The buses transport members of <br />the public to their desired locations via planned routes. <br />Replacement parts are critical to provide the necessary functionality for Everett <br />Transit's daily operations. Gillig fixed -route transit buses are used exclusively for <br />transporting members of the public to their destinations. This results in lowered <br />emissions from vehicles not used for transportation and reduced road <br />congestion due to fewer vehicles on the road.
