I <br /> 1 Egress and ingress shall only occur during the hours of allowable lane closures, , <br /> 2 and: <br /> 3 <br /> 4 1. For exiting an open lane of traffic, by decelerating in a lane that is <br /> 5 closed during the allowable hours for lane closures. I <br /> 6 <br /> 7 2. For entering an open lane of traffic, by accelerating in a closed lane <br /> 8 during the allowable hours for lane closures. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Traffic control vehicles are excluded from the gross vehicle weight requirement. If <br /> 11 placing construction signs will restrict traveled lanes, then the work will be permitted <br /> 12 during the hours of allowable lane closures. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Advance Notification I <br /> 15 The Contractor shall notify the Engineer in writing of any traffic impacts related to <br /> 16 lane closure, shoulder closure, sidewalk closure, or any combination for the week by <br /> 17 12:00 p.m. (noon) Wednesday the week prior to the stated impacts. <br /> 18 I <br /> 19 The Contractor shall notify the Engineer in writing ten working days in advance of <br /> 20 any traffic impacts related to full roadway closure, ramp closure, or both. <br /> 21 I <br /> 22 The Contractor shall notify the Engineer in writing of any changes to the stated traffic <br /> 23 impacts a minimum of 48 hours prior to the traffic impacts. <br /> 24 I <br /> 25 1-07.24.RTF <br /> 26 1-07.24 Rights of Way <br /> 27 (July 23, 2015 APWA GSP) I <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Delete this section and replace it with the following: <br /> 30 I 31 Street Right of Way lines, limits of easements, and limits of construction permits are <br /> 32 indicated in the Plans. The Contractor's construction activities shall be confined within <br /> 33 these limits, unless arrangements for use of private property are made. <br /> 34 I <br /> 35 Generally, the Contracting Agency will have obtained, prior to bid opening, all rights of <br /> 36 way and easements, both permanent and temporary, necessary for carrying out the <br /> 37 work. Exceptions to this are noted in the Bid Documents or will be brought to the I 38 Contractor's attention by a duly issued Addendum. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 Whenever any of the work is accomplished on or through property other than public I <br /> 41 Right of Way, the Contractor shall meet and fulfill all covenants and stipulations of any <br /> 42 easement agreement obtained by the Contracting Agency from the owner of the private <br /> 43 property. Copies of the easement agreements may be included in the Contract <br /> 44 Provisions or made available to the Contractor as soon as practical after they have been <br /> 45 obtained by the Engineer. <br /> 46 I <br /> 47 Whenever easements or rights of entry have not been acquired prior to advertising, <br /> 48 these areas are so noted in the Plans. The Contractor shall not proceed with any portion <br /> 49 of the work in areas where right of way, easements or rights of entry have not been <br /> 50 acquired until the Engineer certifies to the Contractor that the right of way or easement is I <br /> 51 available or that the right of entry has been received.
