Additional comments have also been included based the review of the <br /> revised drawings. This email will serve as the review letter. Two copies of <br /> revised documents should be submitted for review, including an itemized response <br /> letter. The comments below have been itemized for consistency with the original <br /> comments. <br /> Comments <br /> 4. Structural drawings providing details have not been included as required. <br /> The following comments should be addressed: <br /> a. The 8.5x11 page in the structural calculations is not sufficient. Full <br /> size sheets matching the mechanical sheets should be provided. <br /> Revised mechanical drawings coordinated with the existing design already permitted are enclosed. M-1 and <br /> M-2 show all the mechanical equipment along with any structural work required to complete the mechanical. <br /> This includes the cut out and reinforcement of two openings in the tilt up, installation of the 5 radiant heaters <br /> (gas is by plumbing sub), EF-1, AH-1, HP-1, AC-2, and ERV-1. <br /> The original building permit set did not include structural drawings of the walls with the dust lid above forming <br /> the new break room, bathrooms,janitors closet, and IT room. Information provided by you confirming the as- <br /> built conditions of this framing are shown on sheet M-3, this sheet also locates the origin of the lateral force <br /> analysis of this are. Details were from our office details modified from another project. AGAIN THIS <br /> INFORMATION IS PROVIDED FOR REFERENCE, PRODESIGN IS NOT THE ENGINEER OF RECORD ON <br /> THIS WORK, only to verify the effect of the HVAC loads onto the building structure. <br /> b. The page in the structural calculations does not provide details for the <br /> support of suspended equipment as required. Independent vertical and lateral <br /> support is required for all suspended equipment exceeding 20 pounds. See IBC <br /> Sections 1604.1 and 1613.1, and ASCE 7-16 Chapter 13. <br /> Revised structural calculations are enclosed.
