EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL
Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan elements are described below.
Element #1: Preserve Vegetation/Mark Clearing Limits
Temporary fencing will be used to delineate the limits of construction.
Element #2: Establish Construction Access
The existing paved parking lot will be used for access to the construction site. A wheel wash or
vacuum sweepers shall be used to prevent tracking of sediment onto the adjacent public
roadways.
Element #3: Control Flow Rates
Straw wattles will be installed adjacent to existing pavement areas to prevent stormwater from
exiting the site.
Element #4: Install Sediment Controls
Straw wattles will be installed to prevent runoff from exiting the project site area.
Element #5: Stabilize Soils
Not applicable. The existing vegetated embankment will not be disturbed as part of this project.
Any soil disturbance will be hydroseeded.
Element #6: Protect Slopes
Not applicable.
