2. EXISTING CONDITIONS SUMMARY
The site covers approximately 0.15 acres. The existing site is an undeveloped lawn.
Approximately 2,995 sf (0.07 acres) of the site will be impacted by new impervious
surfaces. 100% of the. 0.15 acre parcel Js being disturbed as needed for the.
clearing/grubbing.and..restorabon.of the,existing.site.
Soil information provided by Geotest Services, Inc. were used to determine the on -site
soils. The test pits found .topsoil to approximately 9 inches, underlain by very sandy
silt/clay to approximately 42 inches before the water table (Refer to Appendix A for soil
logs). The USDA Websoil Survey shows the soils as being Alderwood-Urban land
complex and Indianola loamy sand. The general site slopes in the area of disturbance are
steep and average approximately 20 percent down to the northwest. Based on the
existing soil information and the setbacks of the proposed improvements from any of the
property lines and steep slopes, there is little potential for erosion or sedimentation during
construction assuming the basic BMPs included in the SWPPP are installed and
maintained properly. Refer to Figure 2 for an existing basin map.
Kikuchi SFR 21-0104
September 2021 Page 4
