APT ORDINANCE amending Section 11 of Ordinance No. 252 of the City of Everett, as amended by Ordinance No. 2037 of the City of Everett , said Ordinance No. 252 being entitled as follows: "An Ordinance granting to Edward P . Burch, his associates, successors and assigns, the right to construct a street railway upon certain streets and avenues in the City of Everett," and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 11 of Ordinance No. 252, entitled as above set forth, as amended by Ordinance No. 2037 of the City of Everett, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 11: Any person, partnership, association of Persons or corporation operating under the terms of this franchise amendment herein granted shall nay into the City Treasury of the City of Everett on the 1st day of January of each year the sum of '325.00 for each and every trackless trolley or other motor pro- pelled vehicle as described in this ordinance used by said grantee, its successors or assigns, during the preceding year as a compensation for the right to operate trackless trolleys or other motor propelled vehicles as herein specified over the streets and avenues described in Ordinance No. 252 of the City of Everett; provided that during the time that the operator under this franchise maintains adult fares at a price not exceeding Five Cents (5fl per fare , said operator shall pay on the 1st day of January of each year to the City of Everett the sum of 010.00 for each and every trackless trolley, or other motor propelled vehicle as described in this ordinance, used by said grantee , its successors or assigns, during the preceding year, instead of 325.00 as provided in this section."
