Section 2. Said bonds shall be known as "Everett, 1940, Special Water Revenue Refunding Bonds" and be in sub- stantially the following form: No. 31,000.00 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA STATE OF WASHINGTON EVERETT, 1940, SPECIAL WATER REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the City of Everett, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, acknowledges itself to owe and for value received hereby promises to pay to bearer, or if registered to the registered holder hereof, on the first day of January, 19 , the principal sum of $1,000.00, with interest thereon at the rate of per annum, payable semi-annually on the first days of January and July of each year upon the presentation and surrender of the annexed interest coupons as they severally become due. Both principal and interest are payable in lawful money of the United States at the office of the Treasurer of the City of Everett, or at the fiscal agency of the State of Washington in New York City, at holders option, out of the special fund known as 'Everett, 1940, Special Water Revenue Refunding Bond Fund" created by Ordinance No. of said uity, which fund is to be drawn upon for the sole purpose of paying the principal and interest of this issue of bonds. This bond is one of an issue of water revenue refunding bonds in the principal sum of $700,000 issued pursuant to said ordinance No. for the purpose of providing funds to pay certain water revenue bonds, dated January 1, 1930, heretofore is- sued by said city. The City of Everett hereby agrees that it will keep and perform all of the covenants in said Ordinance No. authorizing the issuance of said refunding bonds, and creating a bond fund to pay the same, to be by it kept and performed, and does hereby irrevocably obligate itself to set aside from the gross revenues ci' said municipal waterworks system and all additions there- to and pay into said fund at least thirty days prior to 2.
