<br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br />2023 Human Needs Contract <br /> <br />between the City of Everett <br /> <br />And <br /> <br />ChildStrive <br /> <br /> THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into as of 1st day of January, 2023, by and between the <br />City of Everett, a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of Washington (the "City"), and <br />ChildStrive ("Contractor"). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, pursuant to the recommendations of its <br />Citizen Advisory Committee, has authorized the City to expend general fund monies for the project <br />specified in this Contract in accordance with the provisions of this Contract; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Contractor desires to perform the project set forth in this Contract in accordance <br />with the terms and conditions contained in this Contract; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has implemented AmpliFund, an online Grant Management Software <br />program (“AmpliFund”), for grant management, payment submission, accomplishment tracking, and <br />additional responsibilities from the Contractor as needed for City monitoring; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City and Contractor mutually agree as follows: <br /> <br />I. Project Scope of Services <br /> <br /> A. The Contractor shall perform or cause to be performed the project generally described as <br />follows: Project supports an infant and early childhood counselor who uses culturally specific, trauma- <br />informed, restorative approaches to promote emotional well-being and healthy relationships to help <br />22 children and caregivers. Outcomes include preventing child abuse and neglect, healthy child <br />development, healthy family relationships, and increased resilience. <br /> <br />This project is more specifically described in AmpliFund under Contract Number [HN-2023-12]. <br />The project as described in AmpliFund is referred to in this Contract as the “Project.” <br /> <br /> B. The City agrees to reimburse the Contractor an amount not to exceed that amount <br />described in Section III of this Contract. Such funds shall be expended during the Project Period as <br />described herein in accordance with the provisions of this Contract and the rules, regulations and laws <br />applicable to the expenditure of general fund monies by the City. <br />
