EN SP #2: Regional Law Enforcement Program Manager <br />PLANNING ORGANIZATION <br />SOLUTION AREA <br />EQUIPMENT TRAINING EXERCISE TOTAL <br />$144,000.00 $0.00 $0.00 $3,000.00 $0.00 $147,000.00 <br />PRIMARY CORE CAPABILITIES BEING ADDRESSED <br />lnterdiction and Disruption <br />On-scene Security, Protection, and Law Enforcement <br />WHY IS THE WORK NEEDED? <br />Capability gap identified <br />Planning needs to address Seattle Urban Area Regional Law Enforcement equipment, training gaps and <br />current capabilities. <br />ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED <br />. Strategically align and manage multi-year budgets, equipment, and training projects for multiple law <br />enforcement agencies in King County, Pierce County, and Snohomish County. <br />. Lead multi-agency law enforcement teams in asset assessment and capability gap identification. <br />. Support equipment project development with Regional Subject Matter Experts and assist them with project <br />design, review of equipment interoperability, and allowability. <br />. Coordinate and lead purchasing process for equipment and management of execution of contracts for <br />UASI grant funded training. Support in the development of purchasing documents, such as lntent to Bid and <br />Purchase Orders. <br />. Participate in detailed tracking and reporting for all UASI grant expenditures, invoice review, approval and <br />payment, regional distribution of equipment, and monitoring activities required for federal grant funded <br />investments. <br />. Develop and support regional exercise, training, and drillevents. <br />. Facilitate a solution-based approach with the goal of building overall capabilities in equipment and training <br />for the Seattle Urban Area Security lnitiative (UASI) region. <br />. Align identified equipment and training capability gaps to appropriate federal, state, or local funding and <br />resources available through complex coordination and supportive efforts. <br />. Advocate for Law Enforcement and First Responder communities by participating in planning efforts at the <br />local, regional, State, and Federal level. <br />. Lead the Law Enforcement team for the FEMA Core Capability update for the annual Seattle UASI <br />Stakeholder Preparedness Review. <br />.
