The programmed <br />available funding for the project is $1,325,000. <br />Project summary statement: <br />This project will design and construct stormwater treatment facilities at four separate <br />sites within the Port Gardner Bay Watershed, which was identified as a priority for <br />cleanup and restoration by Washington State's Puget Sound Initiative. <br />Sites PC1-4 and PC1-5 are tributary to Pigeon Creek, GW-2 is tributary to Glenwood <br />Creek, and EW-1 is tributary to Edgewater Creek. This project will provide treatment for <br />total suspended solids, oil, and floatable from surface water runoff. <br />The project has received water quality grant funding from the Washington State <br />Department of Ecology. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled "Water Quality <br />Retrofit Improvements" Fund 336, Program 036. <br />
