May 31, 2023 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., May 31, 2023, <br />President Stonecipher presiding. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Rhyne, Schwab, Vogeli, Zarlingo, Tuohy, and <br />Stonecipher were present. Mayor Franklin and Council Member Fosse were excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Schwab acknowledged the original inhabitants of <br />this place, the sduhubš people, and their successors, the Tulalip Tribes. <br /> <br />The minutes of the May 24, 2023, City Council meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR’S COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The following members of the public spoke: <br /> <br />• Paula Townsell – Budget <br />• Leo Lorge – Benefits of Everett <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Council comments and liaison reports were provided by council members. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson stated that Mayor Franklin is attending the <br />Futures of Alternative Response forum in Washington D.C. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
