AN ORDINANCE amending Section 30 of Ordinance No. 2794 of the City of Everett, entitled as follows: An Ordinance fixing and determining the number of the various officers, assistants, deputies and employees of the City of Everett; prescribing the duties of such officers, assistants, deputies and employees; fixing their salaries and repealing Ordinance No. 2752, as amended by Ordinances No. 2761 and No. 2767 of the City of Everett, and providing that this ordinance shall take effect on January 1, 1939," and declaring an emergency." THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES 02DAIN: Section 1: That Section 30 of Ordinance No. 279L. of the City of Everett, entitled as above set forth, be, and the same hereby is amended to read as follows: Section 30: FIRE HYDRANT DEPARTMENT. Hydrant man (part time) $62.50 per month. provided that said employee, in addition to the compensation provided in this ordinance, shall be entitled to additional compensation for technical radio work performed on Sundays or before 8 Ad., and after 5 PM on week days, at the rate of $1.50 per hour, and not to exceed $25.00 per month. Section 2: An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passame and publication. x Mayor.
