• • ORDINANCE No. 2803. AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 17 and 37 of Ordinance No. 2794 of the City of Everett, entitled as follows: "AN Or_DINANCE fixing and determining the number of the various officers, assistants, deputies and employees of the City of Everett; prescribing the duties of such officers, assistants, deputies and employees; fixing their salaries and repealing Ordinance No. 2752 , as amended by Ordinance No. 2761 and No. 2767 , of the City of Everett, and providing that this ordinance shall take effect on January 1 , 1939 ; and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 17 of Ordinance No. 2794 of the City of Everett be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 17 : PARK DEPARTIENT. There shall be in the office of the Park Department the following named officers , to-wit: Assht . One ( 1) superintendent; One (1) /fepeNaiat Two (2) gardeners; Six ( 6) laborers; One (1) second year apprentice laborer; One ( 1) first year apprentice laborer and One (1) Secretary. The Park Department shall be under the general charge and supervision of the Park Superintendent. The other employees shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their office and as authorized and directed by the Park Superintendent . Section 2: That Section 37 of Ordinance No. 2794 of the City of Everett be, and the samd is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 37 : PARK DEPARTP'ENT. Park Superintendent 175.00 per mo. Assistant Superintendent 125.00 per mo. Gardeners 110 .00 Per mo. Laborers 100.00 per mo. Second year apprentice laborer 75.00 per mo. First year apprentice laborer 50 .00 per mo. Secretary 15.00 per mo.
